🎯 Game Objective
Win by Scoring the Most Points!
Attack Port is a 10-round tactical battle where you earn points by capturing the enemy base (3 points) and eliminating enemy units (1 point each). The player with the highest score after 10 rounds wins!
Victory Conditions:
- Standard Victory: Most points after 10 rounds
- Early Victory: Eliminate all enemy units (game ends immediately)
- Draw: Equal points after 10 rounds
⚙️ Getting Started
1. Team Selection
Before battle begins, you must choose exactly 5 unique Porter types from 8 available options. No duplicates allowed! Each Porter has different strengths and tactical roles.
2. Placement Phase
After selecting your team, drag 5 Porters from the palette onto any empty square in column B (blue highlight). Your base is located at A7 — protect it!
3. Battle Begins
Once both teams are placed, the 10-round battle begins. You'll have 50 seconds per turn to plan your moves.
🎮 How to Play
Turn Structure
Attack Port uses simultaneous turns - both you and the AI plan your moves, then everything happens at once. This creates exciting tactical situations where predicting enemy movement is key!
Actions Per Turn
Each unit can perform one action per turn:
- Move: Relocate to a new position within movement range
- Attack: Fire at enemy units or predicted positions
- Hold: Stay in place (automatic if no orders given)
Movement Rules
- Movement uses Chebyshev distance (diagonal movement counts as 1 square)
- You cannot move into your own base, but you can attack it
- If two units end their movement on the same square, both die (collision)
- Units can pass through occupied squares during movement
Combat System
The new ammo system allows multiple shots per turn:
- Each Porter has a specific ammo count that resets every turn
- You can queue multiple attacks up to your ammo limit
- No two units can target the same square per turn
- Attacks hit instantly if an enemy is in the targeted square
- You can attack empty squares to predict enemy movement

🏆 Scoring System
How to Earn Points
- Base Capture (3 points): Have one of your units standing on the enemy base (M7) at the end of any turn
- Unit Elimination (1 point each): Kill enemy units through attacks or force collisions
- Collision Kills: If an enemy unit dies in a collision with your unit, you get the point
Winning the Game
After exactly 10 rounds, whoever has the most points wins! Base capture doesn't end the game immediately - it just awards points and continues the battle.
💡 Pro Tips
Team Composition
- Balanced Teams: Mix long-range units (Archer, Cannon) with mobile units (Blitz, Scout)
- Specialized Roles: Use Guardians to protect your base, Hunters for precision strikes
- High-Ammo Units: Archer and Cannon can lay down suppressive fire with multiple shots
Tactical Strategies
- Predict Movement: Attack where you think enemies will move, not where they are
- Zone Control: Use multiple shots to cover several escape routes
- Base Defense: Keep at least one unit near your base to prevent easy captures
- Coordinated Attacks: Use multiple units to attack the same general area
Visual Cues
- Blue Overlays: Show where you can move
- Red Overlays: Show where you can attack
- Ghost Units: Preview of planned moves (blue outline)
- Numbered Red Squares: Multiple attack targets from the same unit
- Orange Dashed Borders: Units without orders (starts flashing at 25 seconds)
